The first step is the assessment of the extent of disabilities in our patients so that we can develop programs to, if possible, help them to overcome their disabilities. If full recovery is not possible, we will train and support them so that they can adjust to living independently and working in the community. Psychiatric occupational therapists and day care staff are involved with psychiatric patients, and physical, occupational and speech therapists all work together with patients with neurological, and neuromuscular and developmental disorders.
