Overview of the Department of Community Mental Health and Law


The Department of Community Mental Health and Law conducts research designed to promote improvement in community mental health services as well as forensic mental health systems.

We attach importance to a multi-faceted understanding of mental disorders from a biological, psychological, and social perspective, and are committed to contributing to effective mental health and medical welfare policies through our research.

We are a multidisciplinary research team working on the following areas:
