At the 30th International Congress of the World Muscle Society (held October 7–11, 2025, in Vienna, Austria), Dr. Ichizo Nishino delivered the Victor Dubowitz Lecture.
This lecture is a prestigious honor awarded to researchers who have made outstanding contributions to the development of myology. It has so far been given only to a limited number of distinguished specialists worldwide.
Dr. Nishino presented a lecture entitled “Myology in Asia,” discussing challenges in advancing myology in Asia based on his experiences across the region.
