  • Website "How to deal with anxiety without losing corona" opened on the website of the Institute of Mental Health.(https://www.ncnp.go.jp/mental-health/).2020.7(Kim, Ito)
  • We operated an information portal site for eating disorders (http://www.edportal.jp/ for the general public and http://www.edportal.jp/pro/ for professionals) to promote and educate the public and professionals about eating disorders. The site was accessed by 1,080,117 sessions and 867,089 users (google analytics). (Ando, Sekiguchi, Ohara).

Contribution to professional education

  • We provide the latest knowledge on disaster mental health, psychological care of coronary disaster, trauma response, PTSD treatment, response to crime victims, and response to victims and their bereaved families, at the request of workshops for government officials, local medical associations, universities, and others. 2 Eating disorder treatment support center establishment and operation project
NCNP was designated as the National Core Center for Eating Disorders (National Core Center) following the fiscal year of 2014-2020, with Ando in charge of the administrative implementation (Center Director) and Sekiguchi (Deputy Center Director), Ayako Sugawara, and Semba in charge of implementation. The National Eating Disorders Liaison Council was held, and the National Center for Eating Disorders was established and operated. A report summarizing the results of the National Eating Disorder Treatment Support Centers in Miyagi, Shizuoka, Fukuoka, and Chiba prefectures in FY2020 was prepared. A one-day "Eating Disorders Treatment Training Course" for healthcare professionals was held via the web, with 326 participants. 3 Guiding Principles for Treatment Support Networks for Eating Disorders and Development of Brief Treatment Programs
In order to promote cooperation in the medical treatment of eating disorders, "Guidelines for Cooperation of Eating Disorders in the Psychiatric Field," "Guidelines for Cooperation of Eating Disorders in the Somatic Field," "Guide for Initial Treatment of Anorexia Nervosa (AN)," and "Reception Guide for You and Those Who Support You Suffering from Eating Disorders" were prepared, and information on eating disorders operated by the National Core Center for Eating Disorders The information was made available on the portal site. Clinical activities within the center

  • He was appointed to the outpatient clinic of the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine at the Center Hospital, where he treated psychosomatic disorders and eating disorders every Monday. He was in charge of IBS outpatient clinic twice a month and treated irritable bowel syndrome and other functional gastrointestinal disorders. (Ando.)

  • The Expert Group on Non-radiological Public Health Aspects of Radiation Emergency Planning and As a member of the European Group for Nuclear Response (EGNR), I am participating in a project to develop a policy framework for mental health and psychosocial support in nuclear emergencies in collaboration with WHO, and to develop practical tools for stakeholders.
