Receives CTAD’s "Lifetime Achievement Award"
Tokyo, Japan, November 27, 2025 -The National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry (NCNP; Kodaira, Tokyo, Japan) is delighted to announce that Professor Takeshi Iwatsubo, Director General of the National Institute of Neuroscience, has been selected to receive the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at Clinical Trials on Alzheimer’s Disease (CTAD).
CTAD (Clinical Trials on Alzheimer’s Disease) is a leading international conference dedicated to advancing therapeutic development and diagnostic innovation in Alzheimer’s disease through clinical research. The Lifetime Achievement Award honors researchers whose work has fundamentally shaped the field.
Dr. Iwatsubo is being recognized for his pioneering and sustained contributions to neuroimaging-based diagnosis and neuropathological research in Alzheimer’s disease. His work has significantly deepened our understanding of the disease process and has helped establish foundations for the development and evaluation of novel therapeutics.
The award ceremony and his invited lecture are scheduled to take place on 1 December 2025 in San Diego, USA.
